Boiled the fluid and had alot of pad material transfer which caused the juddering.
Standard oem or equivilant pads are useless for track work so are ds2500.
I would go ds3000 pads along with a quality fluid like advikas has stated. Get some braided lines on too if not already done.
Make sure...
Condensation in the exhaust in cold weather causes steam when heat is applied.
Many cars suffer from water collection in the backboxes, which also causes it.
Flol. This is the one from near me that is driven like its stolen !
Last time i saw it it had a smashed rear quarter window
maybe he was driving aggresivley because someone had smashed his window???
No Daniel i have not tried them with an uprated/matched damper. After how bad the springs was on standard shocks i thought feck buying anything more apex related.
160 to 165 is about the going rate with the 172s i have seen apart from the odd strong one that gets into the mid 170's.
As Dave has said each RR you go on will give different readings and the majority stupidly high.
Yes change the clutch, because if you get a noisy release bearing or something else goes wrong you will be looking between £295 -£450 dependant on where you go.
Don't fit cheap s**t clutches either, go for Valeo or iirc LUK have a decent bit of feedback on here
