 What do I win! No wonder your so keen on her, you both have a love for the bottom of the range models!
On a more serious note I had a small scratch like that on my clio, nowhere near as long as that, a branch caught it. I managed to drip some paint in there using a cocktail stick...
Much prefer the turbines to the wheels that were previously on there, turbines belong on a valver, can't see why anyone would want to remove them. Liking the stealth look.
Do a search buddy.
New one is fantastically capable and arguably the best RS Clio to date as a package, handling is brilliant its well put together etc.
Its probably not as fast as a 172 cup, although i wouldn't like to say either way.
Fuel consumption is almost certainly down on the new one...
Its £105 mate.
Don't know on the tax.
Just take down every single piece of paperwork you have for the car and your wallet and they will sort it all out for you, thats what I did.
Fair point that, battery and stop light would suggest to me alternator.
I would just check all the sensors -get it plugged in ideally.
Then replace all the leads and coilpack if you have too.
Thread title catch your eye did it ;)
Lucky it happened so close to home mate, happened to me once on my old polo, had to take my teeshirt off and tie it up with that as I couldn't find anything else :o
£10k is probably a slight exageration, Im guessing your cup is worth around £5k a new 197 Cup is £13k so around £8k to change.
They are great cars, handle excellently, the build quality is much, much
better and they look great. However it will be a touch slower than your 172 and the fuel...
Bargain worth £5k all day long.
And since when was 60k high mileage! Do you think people just scrap their cars when they turn 60k?! What a load of old b****cks.
Yeah i agree, is a touch over priced, but its has all the service history and he's just spent loads on it, it would suit someone whos after a 100% mint one.
It was aimed at fUbAr, as he lives round the corner from me in sunny Dorset. You would be welcome to borrow it but to be honest it be cheaper to buy one than post that transformer!
