Seriously considering buying the KW Variant 3 kit for the Clio due to it being top of the range stuff and i got money burning a hole in my pocket.
Problem is though, i dont have the first idea of how to set up bump and rebound settings. Last thing i wanna do is bolt it all on and make the car...
Have the KTR brakelines fitted to mine, didnt really notice the difference i gotta admit.
Heard good things about the DS2500's though, gonna have to give them a go next time round, let me know how they get on once bedded in.
Did you have your steering realigned, how does it handle...
Dont take the abuse to heart mate, not my cup of tea but for some reason i like it.
Its hard to pull something like this off and i reckon you done a pretty damn good job :P
No kevo not back til next week but i'll be at trax, without the 197 though im afriad :(
Mike,
I have cat cams fitted, the same as kevos. I got AmD Tuning to fit mine, they are a german tuning specialist but happily worked on my car and did a pukka job of it too, best remappers i've ever...
Have these cams fitted myself, dyno'd at 211bhp up from a std 192bhp, no bad gains.
But bloody expensive cams ( £700 just for parts + another £120 for cambelt kit! )
As for the ECU, mines been mapped for around 4 months now and i too heard this little rumour about the ECU going back to std...
Im a vehicle mechanic mate, which also happens to be a high risk cat too :(.
Interestingly having a HGV and artic licence doesnt go in your favour aswell :S
Nope, clean licence held for 5 years. Car locked in a garage, unmodified :rasp:, and only 5000miles a year lol.
No NCB due to being a former named driver, plus im a squaddie and thats one of the highest risk catergories ( might choose 2b a doctor next time lol ).
Shame when stuff like this happens, insurance should sort you out for £70 though.
Had mine cracked and replaced twice now, with only 5000miles on the clock.
I feel sorry for the fox! looks like it didnt get out of that one alive.
Only ever thing i've killed is a mouse that darted out in front of me, and i felt guilty enough about that.
Would rather ditch my car than smash a foxs head off :(
Maybe not then mate, i had the airbag light up on mine. just plugged it in and deleted current faults and it dissapeared. could be a different cure for your fault.
Probaly cos neat and tidy dashboards are the next big thing, i've only ever had a vauxhall as a hire car and only ever would, seeing as i drive them like a berk regardless of engine temp it doesnt bother me :p
