bloody hell coincidence!! I was coming back from Sutton heading towards Tolworth, the silver one came from the same direction as me but turned right up the side of the Thai pub and the other blue one was coming out of the road on my left!
What's the food like in there btw?
Might be worth phoning a few dealers then - both the ones I spoke to said not to drive it and although one couldnt fit it in, the other one (thanks to Reevethorpe Kingston!) fitted it in straight away as it was quite a quick job to fix. Mine was awful, really juddery the whole time, not...
I had that light and it was the ignition coils (on my last Clio)... mine was done under warranty though, all four of them, two went then the other two went a few weeks later. They told me to bring it straight in and not to drive it apart from going straight to the garage. It had a nasty smell...
I'd tried the Autoglym stuff with a brush and it wouldn't shift the crap on my alloys. Tried claying them today and it was MUCH more effective! Still not perfect but the clay was in shreds by then, but they look so much better!!
I use a chamois to dry it, but just a synthetic one being a veggie!
You def need to try clay, it's amazing!!! Wash and dry the car and feel it, then clay it and then feel it!!!!!! HUGE difference! Takes all the crap off that washing it alone doesn't.
oh and Meguiars do a nice soft towel...
:dapprove: well i wasn't the first person to smoke in it... and then i figured i may as well use it as i wanted to. its just because ive given up i figured id like to get rid of the smell now if possible...
I'm not sure what years they were out but I don't think there were a lot around, so I was told that at the time. Mine was a 2001 Y reg, absolutely brilliant car though. I seem to remember it had some sort of sports suspension on it too?
I had an RT brand new back when R reg were out lol - however when I replaced it for a 1.4 Sport a few years later, the drive was amazingly different, the RT was awful in comparison... might be worth driving both to see the difference :)
:o ok I know I shouldn't have smoked in it, but now I've given up a couple of weeks, what's the best way to clean the interior of the smoke smell, I don't just want an air freshner to mask the smell... any ideas? I remember using Febreeze on my last Clio but that's probably not the best thing!
