Nope, thats the cat itself. The only way to get rid of that is a decat. I got fed up with the whistle from the cat, and after various thorough checks underneath at the cat and the fitting kit etc. there were no leaks. Got myself a silenced decat, much better:approve:

I have just had a silenced decat made (a 110mmx300mm silencer) and yes its louder than the cat but I don't think too loud, and I am quite fussy. It takes away that annoying whistle and only really gives more rasp. Still a pretty crisp note, fairly similar to when the cat is in. HTH

Going to have the silenced decat made and fitted sometime next week. A gamble maybe as it doesn't seem anyone has done it with a Yozza but hardly a big risk is it! I will try and get a video up for it once done.
