Its quite soft, but still handles pretty well. Also, the bonnet is black. I'm not going for any look Im just piecing it together for now. When its all running and at the standard I want, with the right body parts I want I'll worry about the paint...
Yes! lol. The bus took its time coming up the...
F*ck that!!! Google Camel Spider and have a look at some of the bites from them things!
Awesome photos btw mate, must be pretty interesting being out there...
Bein the CA18DET, its 171hp standard which is where its at now. Coming up ASAP is stage 1 which should be around 230hp at the fly. The goal is 300hp at the wheels and 900kgs...
Also, just to be clear, the car was planted through the twisties not sideways! Clios be warned, there are other cars out there that can handle a corner ;)
Shameless plug to what I've been upto whilst I've not been updating this project thread:

Re: Sometime getting lost can be awesome...
It was an 80mile round trip in the end lol. Worth every minute though even if your not pushing on the views and scenery is awesome. At times it was pretty surreal aswell, through the villages instead of seeing teens sitting on walls there were old...
And fun...
I went out today and for those from around Bury I started off at the jackson heights road then went over the grane road. Normally at this point I'd turn down through Holcombe and head home however I was bored and running plenty of petrol and figured the moors were somewhere ahead so...
Do a sunstrip on the inside of the window so its a lot more subtle and your onto a winner, a vinyl strip on the outside will look pants imo... hmmm, hang about...

Aye, I'm pretty sure for FCS '08 we met up with norm and a few others on the A50. I'm gonna add a meeting point for NW at Lymm and I think Lukes sorting out something from sheffield down to donnington services.
Re: Trax convoy from "oooop Nooorthh"-The Day Before
That'll work out nicely if it is haha. I'm not sure tbh mate, I dont normally lead us over the M1, but given that I hate the M6 I'm happy to do it this way lol.
Edit:
Your right from the looks of it...
Re: Trax convoy from "oooop Nooorthh"-The Day Before
We'll be joining the M1 from the A50, so whatever the 1st services is after the A50 that where we'll meet. A mars bar to who-ever can tell me what services it is...
Re: Trax convoy from "oooop Nooorthh"-The Day Before
Will do Luke, I just need to have a look at where we'd join the M1 and I'll edit your op and maybe your title ;)
I know, theres always a trade off though tbh. I love jap crap (see my profile lol) but still if I had a choice of engine a V8 would win for raw power everytime. I wont put one in the S13 because I want it to handle but if I just wanted pure straight line speed a crate engine would be straight in...
drag strip is obviously about the weight aswell which i mentioned. I admit, I didn't realise the 4 rotor was chucking that out, thats quite impressive tbh. What I meant was that some V8s are perfectly capable of 2000hp+ on road fuel. As a stock motor, for the size of them the power output is...
Re: Trax and a piss up 5th/6th September
Score? Serious, any-one willing to let me sleep in their room? erm, I promise after I drink I normally pass out anyway so I wont be a bother lol
Your perfectly welcome to a lift jamie mate, but you'll have to see if another n/w person can bring you home...
I'll defo be there in Project S13, I might also have a go at the 0-60 sprint and see how many seconds my sheds lost over the years :clown:
I'll be buying my ticket last day of the month though as thats payday...
It sounds to me like its been in a shunt and doesnt sound like it been looked after at all. My 197 had a little bit of kangaroo on a cold start and the recaro was starting to wear but that was all, everything else worked perfectly.
