Surly this is just down to the way the wheel arch liner are positioned on the car rather a geo issue?

The SUBframes are percific to the model, so in this case clio mk2 and this gives a platform for pretty much any side mounts and buckets to bolt to. So basically u just need subframes if you have the buckets and side mounts already.

Most people use harnesses with buckets but if you want to use the standard seat belts I guess you could bolt the buckle to the side mount.

It has been done. Steve@R-sports put some in a 172 iirc. Need to get subframes from capital seatings I think. Very expensive package.

Only the cups came with the horrid seats, non cup models have the normal seats, cup packs or not.
