Wasnt ideal conditions, traction was a nightmare and there were a few spins, but I still had a great time! :D
Weve used a G-Tech Performance Meter in the past and were getting some great times when practicing for a 1/4 mile day, but then when we actually got there and did some runs, our times were slower and our terminal speeds were lower!
Better than the old speedo & stopwatch technique, but...
Dont buy it if it needs work to start with...
Get a donor car if poss, as you need loads of bits and it works out cheaper & easier this way, plus you can see/hear the engine running and probably drive it.
I have quite a lot of GTT spares though, so if you need owt, let me know! ;)
Now up for sale >>> http://forum.cliosport.net/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=3&TopicID=83447&PagePosition=1http://forum.cliosport.net/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=3&TopicID=83447&PagePosition=1
As standard the inlet manifold is not finished off well, so if its ported and flowed there are some good gains to be had!
Rhys had one on his 172 and said there was a marked improvement.
I got the inlet & plenum off a Cup race car to fit to my Cup, but obviously now Ive sold the car this...
Try a different dealer...
When I had my Cup I enquired about mods and the service mananger was fine with things like an induction kit or a cat-back exhaust.
More like gone for now mate, its parked on my drive! ;)
