I did notice some of yours were the Prima replica wheels. I'd imagine they weigh more than genuine speedline ones.

Drove 350 miles yesterday in the Fiesta weapon to go and fetch these from Maidenhead. Roadside exhaust repairs on the way home made it slightly eventful. Only 7 hours driving :sleepy: Original Mk1 Cup racer Speedlines, rumoured to be a lighter/stronger magnesium alloy than the standard...

Not as bigger gain as earlier 172's as you'll already have the 'RS' lower inlet. Still worth it though if you have £100 burning a hole. Not possible to put a definitive answer on it like that ^

Shims which sit behind the rear disc and axle? What do you use the car for? 1/4 mile hero arent you... why bother with the hassle of shims for that?

Rear cambers not adjustable. Only with shims which I doubt you'll have.

Sub 20 quid even in Halfords. Or buy some new top mounts.

Could have got a proper size tw*t strip that might actually do something in the event of the sun appearing!

Re: Mk1 172 Hybrid Track Car Project When I measured for mine I needed 22mm, well from what I could tell using non-digi verniers anyway. My method of reducing them wasn't quite as accurate as having them machined though. Don't really see that being related though, I'd imagine the 2 strut>hub...

Re: Mk1 172 Hybrid Track Car Project 172 hubs as he's running 172 driveshafts. Splined part is a bigger diameter than 16v shafts.
