UPDATE ! The garage had a pro installer fit a cat 1 alrm today its a laserline but seems good ~ all the features the original one would have given me really! All free obviously.

Are there any? the car came with 205 40 17's on and it does not handle as well as i had hoped, its still on std suspention too so i think the back has been lifted making it less stable. I am sure i am losing a bit of acceleration at low speed too, And is it just me or are 16 tyres more...

PROBLEM SOLVED!! I went into the showroom with a mildly pissed off face and spoke to the guy who sold me the car, he was apolagetic and said he they sell cars on the spec form for each car - this one said the car had an alarm. he spoke to the manager and they are gonna fit one tomorrow morning...

direct line had no probs import or not the only thing that makes the diffence is the alarm.

thats what i am gonna do, a cat 1 alarm ?? DVLA = uk car RENAULT = import DIRECT LINE = uk car ( imports have 16/17 digits as the chassis no, uk cars have 11 or 12 cant remember now, mine was 11 or 12. rang up trdg standards and i have a good case, quote sales of goods act as you did!
