Girl I work with had her number plates physically taken off her car - then when the parking tickets came through and she queried them, they had been used on a totally different make/colour of car...
If I didnt get finance, Id never be able to save up that much to afford it!
I also usually keep my cars 3 years, till the warranty/AA cover runs out, it needs an MOT and things start going wrong...
I part exd my last Clio to put down the 50% (?) deposit and went for the Renault interest free finance over 3 years for the balance so £273 p/m.
However, as has been said before, you seem to get a good part ex deal with 0% but they dont budge much on the new car cost.
My last Clio (an Si) was silver as silver was the colour to get then but I think its been too popular for too long now and there seems to be more new blue cars about generally now.
I saw a Cup at a Renault day last summer, sat in it and just wanted it desperately but I wasnt working at the...
Awful thing to happen. They probably target nicer areas too, where I live they tend to come into our area from other parts of London... Not much consolation I know but at least they didnt take the car. Must be gutting to lose the camera, hope you didnt have too many photos on there that...
Youll be ok if you have Euro Breakdown cover? (ie not just the normal AA cover that comes with the car)
And Renault garages do stuff under warranty outside the UK.
Pete - rarely have rear passengers so that would be fine.
Loony - Not worried about weight and stuff, I doubt Ill ever get that competitive! I did like Hughs seats though.
If I can go with the harnesses and normal 182 seats, Ill just go for that, I just really want the harnesses.
Roamer -...
Ah right, didnt know that. Although once mounted I presume they are stuck at that height...?
The seats that McShug had didnt seem overly low but they were more padded it seemed?
Sorry for sounding naive here, but can you still use the rear seats?
Plus I have no idea what the rear brace bar thing is, but I wont worry about that for now...
Ideally, Id prefer to keep the standard seats as most buckets are so low for me unless I can find something suitable.
So how do the harnesses fix if you keep the rear seats?
I really want harnesses in my 182 - the normal seatbelts just dont feel as safe etc now. However, I understand to have harnesses, I need to have buckets and have to lose my rear seats etc and no one seems to do this to the 182, only the Cup - so is it a real no no to do this to a 182?
Ive also tried Renault 3 times and they keep sending the standard Clio one out, tried dealers near me too and no luck either. Even when I ordered the car they could only show me a photocopied bit of paper.
