Oh dear... Downloaded the demo today and played through it. Its little more than a button basher :( Yes you can swing together some sweet combos but you can just as easily win by repeatedly hitting a button - sometimes no need to open your eyes, which is a shame as the graphics are...

I've bought it, just need to drag demons souls from the drive, unwrap it and stick it in! Maybe tommorow;)

Don't get a PS3 you'll only end up with access to tons of AAA exclusive titles, get another xbox so you can play titles that are available on every system!

Hmmm I chose the 'Royal' class in Demons souls as I had heard its the easiest starting class but then the game was billed as very hard which influenced my choice of starting character. I normally go assault in Battlefield so guess i'm a mainstream kinda guy!

I understand they are releasing a trilogy with the HD versions of GOW1 and GOW2 in which case thats where my money is going!

Just buy a bigger HD and then you have an elite! (assuming yours has the HDMI)

Controls for moving an alien are just really awkward, it sticks to surfaces and its very disorientating. As for the graphics they are just meh compared to even the recent crop of multicraps let alone too some of the PS3 exclsuives!

Have played the demo, poor controls, s**t graphics just poor, 5.5/10 was generous!

TBH mate I saw that clip and thought wow looks good but must be a hulking pc running it! BFBC on consoles looked a fair degree worse than MW1 but the gameplay made up for it!

Is there any news about the single player yet??? Not that thats its strong point indeed the campaign in BFBC was shite, MP is where Battlefield shines but I'm just asking lol :)

Normally there are at least 4 sites giving any game 10/10 in the metacritic roundup, even the crappest game can be guaranteed a '100' from some dodgy spanish game web site. 68 overall is about right, what I said earlier 6.5-7 ;) Surprised at IGN tbh they and Gamespot (along with Eurogamer)...

Well from those reviews the only sites worthy of repeating are IGN, eurogamer and 1up, with Gamespot yet to review. AAAE nonetheless!

Nor me mate tbh which is why I love Demon Souls. Its kind of a thinking mans 'hack and slash' game with an incredibly deep set of upgradable weapons and magic and miracles thrown in to mix things up. The online multiplayer is incredible, 1 vs 1 your build versus their build, literally...

Which will translate as a 6.5-7 on the proper review sites ;)

Demons Souls is an action RPG, it changed the rules, story is minimal but its there if you want it i.e look hard enough. Boring it is not!!!

Got £80 on a Game card and guess where its going :p

Demon Souls is simply the best game on any system - ever! As for hard..only at first and if its that hard just summon a few other human players to co-op with you:D
