Little Big Disk is only powered over Firewire..

iTunes is awesome. End of. :) (And, it does no slowing down, and is pretty rapid in operation, too). Media Player, now.. that's an app which needs a usability study conducting on it :p

Yea, but depends what you use it for. If you want a small drive, get a 2.5" mobile USB drive.. then it's powered too off your computer (so no external power supply).

My iPod works seamlessly with OSX.. ;) It also works seamlessly in Windows.. Plug in, iTunes syncs.. done.

I did this a few years back, and you do need a VGA screen to do it properly.. then you can see text properly. Just so have it, that I have mine in the loft.. wanna buy it? 7" VGA Widescreen ;)
