172 manifold, top part of a 172 cat/decat (when i find one) as the downpipe, then use part of valver decat to mate it to current exhaust. Is the plan anyway, will leave it until its all in and about ready so I know what's where.

Stay out the box, makes my thread look more popular :D

Finally got round to making a start on the engine today. I'd not touched it since I picked it up last weekend. Took the upper inlet and throttle body off first of all to give me a bit more access to everything. Also removed and labelled up some of the engine loom which I'll make a start on later...

Yep, sit both engines next to each other, swap necessary bits over, put back in, plug in, plumb in, go :approve:

Swap the upper inlet/plenum and throttle body over from the ph2 engine onto the ph1. You'll need to retain the ph2 engine loom too for the DBW.

They're meant to be 5 years or 72k, whichever comes first. Get it done mate.

Early Audi A3 1.6/1.8 petrol's Dan, any experience with them? High milers but on an Audi, be reet?

Low miles for an hdi that. I actually think the 3dr's look good too. I really should have thought about it some more and got something sorted before 182 went :clown:

3dr 306 d turbo/hdi ideally, not as many about at the moment as I thought there might be. What've you got in?

Correct :star: It was quite, but needed both belts doing, oil, plugs etc. £600+ service due. In a minute or three Sir. Hiiii! 1 of these little devils Valver, done. Love mine :D. It's the current daily drive too :clown:

What mileage would we consider sensible to be buying one on? It'd need to be reliable for my work commute. Just sold the 182 and cant decide what to replace with.

How much out of interest? For the Civic.
