Witham oil barrels... we use them too. Car looks a state!

A JB3 from a Mk1 16v will bolt straight on, and are common as muck. Probably his best bet. Williams box is a JC5, similar to that in a mk2 RS. What are his symptoms of the box being dead? The diff circlip is a common issue, resulting in loss of drive.

Re: Valver Track Car Project Thread Another update after a Cadwell Park Trackday on the Monday just gone, 06/07. Car behaved itself once again. Only slight problem I had was the alternator power cable terminal coming off, but I successfully rigged that enough with a P-Clip to keep me out on...

Mk1 hub bolts are smaller diameter than 172/182. Valver was 12mm, 182 14mm iirc.
