Cheers - meant to say that I realised it wouldn't be HD in that room - doesn't really bother me.
Any particularly good equipment available to do it? I remember seeing something from Phillips.
Cheers.
Can it be done?
My setup is / will be. Sky HD in the lounge with an HDMI connection to the TV. Sky HD Multiroom in the office / spare room connected to the TV with HDMI.
I'd like the lounge box to connect to my bedroom but I don't really want to run a coxial cable through the house or into...
Spotted you when I was coming out of Costco about 1pm - think you saw me too.
I have a cliosport sticker too - you probably didn't see it under all the dirt!
Cheers.
Surely it does work with Dolby 5.1. You'll probably have to run an optical cable directly from the 360 (or any device) to the amp. My bet is your TV doesn't support 5.1 pass through even if it does have an optical output (my Bravia is exactly the same).
You need to mess with the sound field...
There's a thread here about the first system - i got one for my dad and he's over the moon with it.
Shame it doesn't support audio over HDMI though - my only gripe.
Depends on the movie tbh.
I've got about 25 Blu Rays / HD-DVDs and some are better than others. Die Hard 4 (Blu Ray) and Transformers (HD-DVD) are the best visually I've seen on each format, with the exception of Planet Earth on Blu Ray which is glorious! :)
