Phil I understand the points your trying to make but don't think the above screenshots really do it justice, a flat lifeless track from GT5P (could have chosen London?) and not even the same car models. Perhaps even more so with the pc as that looks the worst by some way but its a 'tv'...

Its certaintly worth sticking with, yep at first i felt the same, lots of baja and truck racing and the circuit based tracks even now still annoy me. that said Morroco, Malaysia, china, Utah and Croatia have some great point to point proper rally racing:D

Not great reviews but not s**t either Gamespot gave it a 7.5/10 Average to Fair I would say! Main negative thing was the lack of a real campaign mode. I am half tempted to download this off the store and run it from my 4gig memory stick!

I saw some console screens vs PC screen yesterday and the console version in comparison was truley shocking, that said have seen much better on PC also.

When I hook up my laptop to my telly using a HDMI cable, I get picture but no sound. Any thoughts guys on what I need to do to correct this?

^^Will do, yes agreed Gameplay is very good, that said stick it on heavy rain and the graphics look great with the water everywhere! Also love the random 'bug splats'!

TBH when it comes to reviews its either Eurogamer, IGN or Gamespot for a reliable review.

Took the GT40 out, didn't last long, then took out one of the radicals which was a lot easier! The graphics on this are well ok ish? Settings on maximum. Hooked it up to my tv earlier via HDMI and even V synced at 60FPS it didn't look great! Looked better though at a vsynced 60 than a no...
