Im S7 CUP, Im in Hamilton and Motherwell quite a lot, I kinda roam as part of my job. Not really into cruising so you wont have seen me in Coatbridge or at the park on a Sunday Nite.
From the figures Ive seen for them all, and I know it aint the best way to compare them:-
0-60s
182 - 7.1s
Cup - 6.8s (EVO say 6.5s but thats a bit optimistic)
Type R - 6.6s (shaves 0.2s from the old one - got this from CAR Magazine - Nov/Dec 03)

why dont you take it to a specialist tyre fitter and get them to check the balance.
I had the same problem when I had the tyres replaced, when I took it back, the fitter had forgotten to remove the old balance weights, god knows why this was a problem coz no matter how many weights you have...
surely theyre talking about the mk1 v6, surely a mk2 would kick cup ass on a track - didnt they see top gear, it was as fast as a Aston Vanquish in the wet!
I do like the silver ones, but it aint really a cup if its not monidal blue!
And whats the deal with climate control - the cup is supposed to be a lightweight, stripped out beast!
you have to take the rough with the smooth so to speak.
You wouldnt have the handling quality if the ride was more compliant, unless youd paid about £50k for a BMW M5.
It pi*ses me off a little at times but I always think of the dry weather handling with a big grin on my face! :D
