Depends what you go to track for imo
If its to play around with the levels of grip then yes
but if you want to make your car focused and try and show up other cars on track, fast lap times etc. then get a better tyre.
I've Got RS-R's on mine atm and cant fault them on the road. Done a wet day at brands and they were ok but nothing special. Also done a dry day at Bedford and a dry day at silverstone and both times felt a little disappointed at the level of grip even after playing with the pressures. but saying...
Become a member on here and buy them from g172 he's a trader who will probably beat all the prices on ebay and probably by the amount the membership fee will be(£12) and you know your get the right ones with quick deliver.
It depends whats already been done to the car but if it was std and in good working order I would say look in the for sale section for stuff that takes your fancy make sure its a good price, buy it and enjoy it and if you get bored sell it on and you shouldn't of lost much.

manufacture probably dont paint them to save on cost and to begin with they dont look to bad.
as for paint your best bet is to get a can of high temp spray of ebay for about £7 delivered.
Oh I see, I was thinking they can't be harnesses surley they would be to slack lol.
If you was to get harnesses I think you can mount them to the higher seat belt points and be quite safe, that's what I see a lot of clio owners do anyway. That or get a cage lol
