How might I get the rest of the bugger out? It's left a little bit protruding but not really enough to get mole grips on.
Can I buy a new pair on their own from anywhere? They're 172 front calipers.
Annoying how 15yr old 16v rears undid fine but I had to use molegrips on the ~6yr old 172 cup...
Re: Valver Track Car Project Thread
The multicar quote was about equal to what I'm paying this year on the 182 alone. Assuming I filled it in properly. :approve:
Re: Valver Track Car Project Thread
Done a few quotes online and its not looking as bad as I imagined. Admiral multicar seems reasonable with the 182 as well and theyre not usually very good on mods.
Will play them all against each other when I start ringing round. Plenty of hours in at work...
Quick video of it running again. Exhaust seems pretty quiet but thats possibly down to me being used to a Yozza w/ decat on the 182 :clown:

Ha, good post!
Cheers. Another seat, dash top, bit of tidying to do yet but its not far off.
Will do, keep an eye on the project thread.
Once is abit 2008 really... :o
Thanks
Want it on the road by the end of the month. First track day is 19th April so I want some miles on it before...
Thankinyou
Lets hope so!
Knew i forgot something!
Cheers. Rust free too ;)
Hope so!
Speedline Chrono's as said. Will mainly be on black Williams wheels but theyre on the 182 at the moment, as I need more tyres for it.
Cheers bud.
Loads of pics of where I'm upto so far with the project Valver. Really starting to get there now and I'll hopefully have some photos of it out on the roads soon!

Re: Valver Track Car Project Thread
Been a while without an update, but I've been pretty busy. Not taken any pics since the last set but things have come on quite a way. I'll let todays 'current status' pics show you where I've got to. Note it's at the top of the drive, under its own steam ;)...
Passenger side is the same across the ph1/ph2, drivers side is sometimes different, seems to bit a bit of a renault parts bin situtation when the cars are built. Ph1 drivers shaft is a solid one piece shaft, as below:
Later ph2/182 have an extra joint in the drivers side.
