Cheers jim!
I picked the car up from gatemouth in scotland with the dolly as it had an oil cooler/warmer problem. The car started as an n/a. The plan was to turbo the n/a to around 300whp.
Got it built and it lasted 15mins if that! 2 bent conrods.
Time for a new engine! Full turbo motor that...
Such a lovely car jim but i do think its either the master cylinder or slave cylinder that isnt letting the fluid return and holding the clutch slightly. Dont forget to tell him to check.
Didnt the guy say it had had a slave on it recently for some reason? Could be the same problem. Master...
No still the original internals! The engine has never been opened up!! Yeah they are a bit floaty, still feels a bit top heavy but il sort it!
Excuse my ignorance but who are you? Paddy?
@Rob just chucked the full built wheel in the powdercoaters! But on the front wheel i only got the rim powdercoated as i wanted it silver on the front with black rim but full black on the rear.
Spokes can be bought cheaply if you wanted to respoke, all sorts of colours so the world is your oyster

No not got a build thread or a spread sheet! But i do have a few pics as i went along, its got kepspeed swing arm and forks, kepspeed flat bars and conversion plate, kepspeed exhaust, standard wheels powdercoated black rear and just black rim front. Brand new honda brake shoes with new springs...
The cub now has 12month ticket, passed with flying colours. The MOT guy even went n got all his mates to come have a look at it! Well impressed!
Taxed it, £18! And now fully insured so just waiting on Jim to sort everything his end and then out o them!!
Yeah jims is a standard 90 bottom end, 3 speed with 110cc barrel, piston, head n valve gear and 22mm carb. Its pretty quick compared to mine but mines bone stock c90 including standard carb!!!
Lovely for cruising about on
