Whilst I do agree with Roys/Darrens comments on performance/upgradeabilty/etc theres a lot of crap in this thread about heating and cooling, do people not realise laptops use a low wattage versions of cpu's and graphics cards?? Thats why they cost so much! They do not need the uber cooling...

How long should it take guys to rip a DVD to your HD? I know it depends on system spec but an average? My current software takes a good 90+ mins per dvd!

Having spent a huge amount of time researching gaming laptops recently your going to need a 512mb dedicated graphics card as minimum, fastest one you can afford coupled with 4GB of ram and a 2.4GHZ core 2 duo should run most things on medium - high settings depending on the screen size...

I doubt even the 'next gen' (PS4) consoles could match the screenshots I have sene of crysis running at maximum it really is damn near photorealistic in places. That said I think its boring!!

Have seen 400 cars, 100 tracks and 2 discs mentioned. Hopefully MS will announce this at E3 as god knows they have nothing else to announce! That said they do usually like to announce their games a few years before hand so it would be out of kilter for them so to speak but heres hoping!!

Yeah the gameplay looks good, especially as it still uses the uncharted climbing mechnaics so you could shoot someone halfway up a wall or ledge lol!!

Hence the apology in the title and tbh it had moved on from there:p As an update I logged a call with Toshiba and they were like 'just try the newest drivers and if they don't work out use the old ones' - there was almost a lol in there! So I did! And......... probably 3-4FPS better...

Rumour has it that this will have online multiplayer, I won't bother linking as Sony are due to announce it officially tommorow. Not sure I like it tbh, The first uncharted had an excellent single player campaign and I wouldn't want Multiplayer to detract from that in anyway!

Right thanks to you guys I was able to go onto the Toshiba website and download the OEM Nvidia drivers for my laptop graphics card - installed them and away we went:) However upon installing farcry 2 it says at the start my graphics card doesn't have the latest drivers! It still runs farcry 2...
