Only just seen this but then again we did all get there on Friday. Was a great weekend, had a wicked laugh so a big thanks to everyone that came. Also a massive thanks to TrannyB for orgranising. It was fooking ALRIGHTER! As for the rest of you that didnt come.....I'm disgusted!!!!

Hmmm i have 2 bits of rubber, 1 big washer, 1 little washer and 1 wierd indented washer per strut. Dunno what goes above and below lol!

So what have you got there mate. At the top of the strut inside the boot, you have from the chassis up - rubber, metal washer, then nut? What about underneath? Did you use the originial dust covers and bumpstops from the old shocks.

Yeh i mine are wierd though. They dont seem to fit the indentation in the rear top mounts. Too small and move about no matter how tight you do up the nut.

Anyone have any pics/info of what rubber and washers were used when fitting rear shocks. Standard dust covers and bump stops dont fit...

I'd go for FK Konigsportas like me then if you are on a budget. I'm very pleased with them and still keeps good ride comfort!

FK Konigsports if you dont have cup packs. Although I have them as they were converted using a welder etc. Otherwise you wanna look at Gaz, KW or Bilstein as they are all cheaper than H&Rs (which seem to be top rated on here)

My cars that height and its about 50-60mm on coilovers. You may get away with 40mm apex springs though. TBF Germany is where FKs and such like come from so you should get them cheap! ;)
