+1!!! Earlier this year between Llangollen and Corwen on the A5 there was literally an accident in front of us where a car lost control and hit the roof of the car and swerved back onto the right side of the lane, car was steaming and bloke climbed out of car looking in pain and crawling, there...
Re: Ollie's Silver Cup - JMS RS2/428s/Wilwood/2118
Ideally it needs to be blocked (to my knowledge). But sticking that RS2 breather pipe will do the job until you can source a blocker. Ive got the mocal catch tank ready to go on as well, just need to source someone who will sell the piping for me
Re: Ollie's Silver Cup - JMS RS2/428s/Wilwood/2118
The one on the right of that picture is just a breather pipe that originally comes with the RS2, As the mocal catch tank dosent come with a blocker I believe Ollie popped the breather pipe there instead. You dont necessarily need one as the...
I have been thinking of that! I did originally order one in the beginning of the year, but the stock rang out in the country. It's probably my next upgrade though.
Thanks for your comments, ps the bilsteins are already due for a refurb! Only covered around 35k on them! Bloody Welsh roads ;-)
I've just travelled from Wales to Danny 519 automotive today, I fully recommend him. Look in the traders section or type in 519 automotive in google to find his details

Straight line with the head you mean? I just made sure I covered everywhere I didnt want the paint to hit, simple really. No this is just normal VHT Paint, I chose it as I thought it would match the Jenvey manifold better
Yeah, just made sure I covered absolutely everything in the engine bay before I started!
That's how I started it, but covered more after as it gets everywhere!! Lol
After a little 6 hour round trip to Danny 519 today I'd like to say how friendly and very knowledgeable this chap is! Well worth the trip.
Learnt a lot more about my Clio just talking to him as he worked on the car.
On the way down I averaged 36mpg, same driving style on the way back and I was...
I think theres a piece of metal which is attached to the engine underneath it though, so you need a bolt with a nut on the other side to secure it. Danny from 519 spotted it on mine and he quoted that the engine mounts can break because they are under additional strain with only two bolts?
Nice car :approve:. Just to warn you you need one more bolt in your engine mount, there should be 3. This bolt dosent come with the RS2 kit so you need to source one, have a look on my project page and you'll see what I mean
