Verdict on the 2118's an R888, immense how much more grip you get! Side Walls feel solid, can't wait till my next track day :-). And James JMS has confirmed that the RS2 should be with me tomorrow morning :-)

Loosen the bolt on top of it and smack the old ball joint out with a hammer and chisel, that's how I did it

I had this problem, check your track rod end for play as this knocks quite bad if it's worn. I also changed by ball joints the same time, although they looked solid while flexing them with a bar when they were complete, when I pulled them off there was excessive play in them, hopefully it will...
