Standard bolt length is 24mm, therefore with 15mm spacers on each side, I'll need a 39mm bolt.
Larkspeed have these, which are perfect...
I'm going to go with Eibach ones from Larkspeed I think:
For rear: http://www.larkspeed.com/index.pl?p=SP9S90105003&a=i
For front: http://www.larkspeed.com/index.pl?p=SP52S90215014&a=i
So this means I'll need longer bolts for the front; I just need to work out how much longer as I don't...
Oh for Christ's sake! Serious?
Whenever it comes to me looking into this I end up getting annoyed, then when I see my car and see how far in the wheels are in makes me come back for more, it's doing my head in!
Any idea what size shorter bolts I'll need?
Sorry, just done some searching and it seems 5mm on each side you can get away with using current bolts; so it looks like if I buy what I suggested about I'll be all good :)
Confirmation from anyone in the know would be great though :D
Hi all,
I'm about to purchase some spacers, these ones: http://www.venommotorsport.com/product_details.php?id=3247&manufacturer=FK&category=Wheel
At the front of my car there is about 19mm on each side gap from the widest part of the top of the wheel/tyre, therefore a total track width gap of...
They might be seized, I adjusted mine recently and it was seriously hard work getting them to move again. Spray them with plenty of WD40, leave them for a few mins and then try again. If that still doesn't work, get the C-spanner in position and then use a hammer on it to try and get it to turn...
Unfortunately, in my late teens and early 20s, I was far from cool. I guess as we all get older we all look back at our younger selves and think "What a dick". I imagine I'll look back at 26 year old me in about 5 years and think, what a dick!
I crashed my first car into a hedge, into a conrete sign, into a massive grass bank, span it in the snow, f**ked an ex over the bonnet in a car lift (yes, a car lift), f**ked my ex in the back seats, f**ked my ex in the passenger seat, fingered some other girl in the front seats, got sucked off...
Thanks Jack, is that parts only?
Any guides on how to fit them? I've managed to do my brake discs, brake pads, coilovers, and a few other little bits and bobs before, but for some reason these bits scare me a little, probably because I don't even know what they look like.
It's the thought that counts :) Thanks anyway.
I can live with it for now, just need to sort something out eventually as the back needs to be raised about 5-10mm.
