ive put mine to the rear seat belt buckel bolt. dremeled the paint off it and bolted it down nice and tight

nope never had any thing like that. my guess is duff dials but you would still have to check the wiring

keep the hair dryer on it for ages you may think its getting to hot but it aint, it may look dry but if it is damp it will kill itself instantly.

you dont need a shop just get it done;)

ah= amp hours in other words the higher the number the better. ive not had a prob with mine going dead running a 1kW current hungry amp and the standard batt since 2002 but i dont run it with the enigine off [Edited by Dink on 7/4/2005 10:17:52 PM]

ive got the standard one that came with the car dont really see the point in changing

well it depends on the load eg 4x180w @ 4 ohm 4x250w @ 2 ohm 2x500w @ 4 ohm so if you say are running a set of 4 ohm comps and a 4 ohm sub you would get about 2x180w and 1x500w [Edited by Dink on 7/4/2005 2:16:49 PM]

well that was the idea of checking the voltage across the the power terminals while there is +12v on the remote. because the volt drop will only show when there is current flowing

yes it is possible to run a set of comps off your hu. but it would not use the the x-over that comes with the comps but connect each speaker to the hu.(tweeters to the front channels and mids to the rears) nd then move the switch on the hu to 3-way

show if the speakers are fudged.

have you tried to power it up with no speakers connected?
