if the connection is maked on/acc then you will just need a piece of thin wire from the amp remote, so it switches on the display at the same time as the amp. but you dont have to connect it up its just for show

no you need a 4-channel amp. 2-channels for the front speakers and then you can bridge the other two to power the sub

if there is a display on the cap it is for that. just connect it to your remote if you want to

4 channel would be ok with a 4-ohm sub and the front speakers. you would bridge two channels for the sub
