never had one crash,remotes have to be paired after the kit is turned on without the battery in the remote until turned on.i agree with firmware though but i find sticking with original firmware works fine :)

coat hanger is always the best and easiest option,feed it through the bonnet cable grommet,if necessary pull the grommet through into the car and then fit the cable and then cut out the part of the grommet in order to make both fit matt
