Help installing amp wiring into 06 1.4 expression

Hey guys, bought myself a new Vibe CBR Sub and amp need to know how to get the power wire from the engine bay into the car. Cannot see the gromit to push it through.

Also does anyone know the easiest way of getting the wires into the boot?

One more question where shall I earth it?

Use the bonnet catch gromit and push it through there. Should come out behind the glove box.
Getting wires to the boot, just run them along the panel below the door and then under the rear seats.
Best place to Earth it is probably the spare tyre bolt... or anywhere with exposed metal.

Thanks for the info, done as you said but cannot see any of the wiring that i have pushed through due to the airbox, battery, infact everything is in my way

Has anyone got any diagrams or more info?

Get the airbox off then! Shouldn't take much to get it off

The main problem is.....

1; NOT SURE WHICH GROMIT TO PUSH THROUGH AS THE ONLY ONE I CAN FIND IS JUST UNDER THE GLOVEBOX WHERE THE BONNET WIRE GOES INTO ENGINE BAY,

2; COULDNT GET THE AIRBOX OFF LOL WHICH IS IN THE WAY OF WHERE IM TRYING TO LOOK WHERE I GOT MY ARM STUCK.

3; I HATE FRENCH CARS THATS WHY IVE GOT A TYPE-R

THERE MUST BE AN EASIER WAY LADS, IM GONNA GET EAR ACHE UNTIL ITS DONE!

Lol! through the bonnet release cable grommet! Get the f**ker through there!

have you tried taping the cable onto an un-bent coat hanger and poking that through and up, it might give you something to get a grip on

coat hanger is always the best and easiest option,feed it through the bonnet cable grommet,if necessary pull the grommet through into the car and then fit the cable and then cut out the part of the grommet in order to make both fit
