Exactly. There are 2 servers connected to the UPS, yet only 1 has this weird restart glitch. Going to try plugging it directly into the mains to see if that solves the problem. No idea on the boot.ini. Surely thats necessary for the server!!!

Hmm Rob I went into the Advanced Tab of the System component and when I clicked settings to untick the "auto reboot" it says: The C:\boot.ini file can not be opened. Operating System and Timeout settings can not be changed. Ok so now i'm concerned!

The previous system shutdown at 14:30:35 on 22/09/2006 was unexpected. Is the only comment regarding the issue in the event log. BSOD?

A server of a clients randomly (we think) shuts itself down. I was working happily away and it turns itself off and needs manually powering back on. I.e someone has to press the button. Is there any software I could dump on it to see why its doing this? Something to monitor and log something...
