It should be ok chuck. I would notify the dealership of their mistake, put it back on and then see how it goes. 1. If it works forever then hurrrah 2. If it breaks then you've notified them they left it off and they'll have to replace it as its their fault. Job done. :)

What age/model/version is your clio - it says facelift but Renault have given them more facelifts than Ruby Wax.
