I would do it. Q. Did this car leave the factory with them? A. No - then declare it. Thats always been my ethos. When my Cup was written off they have pics of how they looked standard. They therefore knew the bits I'd swapped. Insurance companies aren't as stupid as people make out.

Well without knowing the age of your car its a restrictive element in modern cars produced after 1992 called a catalytic convertor or cat for short. You remove the cat and replace it with a pipe called a decat = more free flowing exhausts gases. :)

65bhp when it left the factory possible loss due to age = 10% backbox and k&n fittted (added bhp 0) possible loss due to open filter = 5% Approx bhp now 50bhp? ish.... Just being honest.
