You've got the permanent and switched 12V feeds the wrong way round. You need to swap the red and yellow leads, there are normally bullet connectors on your aftermarket harness to allow this. Ben

Yep, sounds like red and yellow are swapped over. Either swapped in the ISO connector, or there will hopefully be some bullet connectors mid line which you could simply swap. Ben

Hi Jack, I was looking to do this just to allow easy access to pull the wires out from the back of the HU. It's not possible I don't believe without dremelling it off, I think it's all one piece. Ben

Yeh, that's there but you need to be a proctologist to get your hand up far enough to reach the HU wires!

Adaptor takes its power from a specific socket on the back of the HU (along with its ground etc) and then I think the actual signals are transferred via an audio-jack like plug. Ben
