Just brought a fabia splitter whats the best way to fit these with out being bodged and looking wonky?

Are these the carbon ones look a funny shape? Yh i need a engine cover as the cups dont have them will get one and spray it blue spray rocker cover silver so looks fresh not sure on what colour hoses and inlet tho

or polished inlet mani :p my cup has blue callipers atm last owner painted them not me! dont look to bad tho

did u notice much difference driving the car with the inlet fitted? will have to wait till the end of the month till pay day and i shall let you know! deffinatly interested in these tho

removing inlet is peice of cake i had mine off the other day about 8-9 bolts? cleaned my throttle body out was full of gunky sh*t and i meen full! car seems to drive much better!! white hoses dident think of that what sorta spray can be used on the inlet mani

was thinking yellow hoses but falt it might be a bit much lol i did think blue but wanted somthing that will stand out i think itll be blue or yellow lol with maybe a polished inlet and spray the rocker cover

so im thinking of tarting up the engine bay... silicone hoses ect i have a mb 172 cup what colour do people think willl suit my car? what ever colour hoses i have i shall probly do the brake calipers the same all suggestions welcome thanks!

Spark plug cover? Or the plugs that plug down the holes? If anyone can help me also i have oil on the chassis were the top engine mount is rocker cover gasket?

Im after a single tip exhaust for my 172 cup that isent so loud want something thats pretty quiet driving normaly then abit raspy when putting my foot down i brought a janspeed centre section and powerflow backbox with letterbox tip and it is so loud i dont even like driving the car any suggestions?

I've been offerd a magnet cat back system for my ph2 172 cup but its of a ph1 any one no if it will fit straight on my ph2?

its hard to explain realy ermm i dno how to explain it lol ill have a look at the downpipe tomorrow at work as i have ramps there it may just be driveshaft it only happens when i floor it tho just falt id make a post to get suggestions that i can check over

^^ yup i paid £250 labour 130 for cambelt kit and 130 for dephaser the guy who done it said my timming was miles out due to the dephaser being nakerd had the belts and dephaser done timmed back up and shes a lot quicker then it was before i dropped it off :)

when i floor it i here a grinding sorta noise coming from the front can also feel it in the foot well i falt it may have been dephaser pully nocking around as it was noisy but had the dephaser changed and still doing it.... i no the engine mounts nakerd can this be the problem? or the driveshaft?

yea true i love the cup just dont like the lack of toys ie air con abs ect think ill keep hold of the cup its very clean fairly low miles very clean and as i said just had the belts done with oil filters and plugs

I got the cup as it was all i could afford at them time and it was only 5 mins up the road all the other 172s were crap! Im thinking of selling and getting a 182 but then think its stupid as ive just had the belts and dephaser done!!!

did u notice any difference in the car being more bumpy or was it a bit more comfy? ill have a look now

so had the cambelt and dephaser done today! so now decided now thats done time for some modifications i want a set of lowering springs not sure how low just basicly so the arches sit level with the tops of the wheels? i want some springs that probly aint as stiff as the cup ones if possible stop...

yea thats what i want all the extras! ill have to have a little think about it as my cup is mint and everythings been done on it that needs doing the last thing i want to do is sell to buy a 182 and have to do bits over again:cry:

oh like a plastic allen key bit tht goes down into the adjuster? so u basicly can adjust the light manuly then? 4 hour drive but spose there worth it i drove 27 minutes down the road;) lol
