Type CMD in the Run dialog to bring up and elevated command prompt then look to enter the DISM command above. I would make sure you have backups etc in case something fails etc.
The following command can be used to upgrade, not sure if thats what you are doing?
C:\> DISM /online /Set-Edition:Professional /ProductKey:XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
Open a command prompt and run "ipconfig /all"
This will list the ip address of your machine.
I believe the camera software is just showing the network over which its connected.
TBH you should really use this as an excuse to upgrade your machine. At present its a bit like ordering in Sky HD 3D then plugging it into a 19inch Blank and White Bush portable.
Ah, ok, wasn't sure how it was seen as a device. Most 32bit stuff should be seamless on 64bit as Windows has built in subsystem to do the translation (Wow64).
Search the web, I'm not going to go into it here but its a bit like saying the all Clios are the same except the bodyshell. Would you really need an explanation to why they are different?
How are you convincing them to do that? Also Windows 8 is still pre-beta. You will not be getting the best performance and possibly limited hardware support.
