jon, I believe it goes in the front plastic panel by the near-side headlight and connects to the alarm sender as the bonnet is hooked up the alarm. youll probably see a black hole where it should be and a cable and clip underneath. assemble accordingly and clip back into place.

Mine had an uneven floor - I think it might have been down to Id just written it off - the roof was rather uneven from memory also... lol

Look nice but going to look crap once you get a few stone chips on them. :( Go get them powder coated properly at a wheel refurbers. :)
