Rick when I crashed I had harnesses and buckets with airbags - the airbag broke my nose...
LOL but yeah I think 12v through my arse every time I broke the speed limit, everytime I cut someone up, everytime I drove like a prat would really make me pay attention.
Can I also add - there is no such thing as an accident anymore. When I had my crash in April its now referred to as an RTI - Road Traffic Incident. This is because, as the Police officers attending correctly stated, there is always going to be someone/something to blame.

technically using the air con will use more fuel as its extra strain on the engine to run it - therefore using more fuel.
Driving with windows down will also use more fuel as it affects the aerodynamics of the vehicle but only noticable really at high speeds - the Clio is pretty sh*t...
how old is your car fitzy? I think its a new one, do the following:
1. Make sure your car is nice and standard
2. Call the AA Renault Assistance and tell them your car has a horrible missfire and making lots of horrible noises and its broke.

Incorrectly fitted spark plug is forced out due to pressure inside head, wrecked thread on the cylinder thread.
Car over-fuels to compensate for more air - remember with an exposed cylinder head its sucking un-filtered air staright into the engine - more fuel/air etc mixture totally...
