I'm in the market for another 182 since mine got smashed, this one's fairly local to me and looks OK from the advert. Just wondering if it belongs to anyone on here or if any of you know anything about it? Probably gonna go take a look at it in the week if possible, but it'd be good to get some...
Re: ***How much is my car worth?***
Deciding whether or not to keep my salvage, it was fairly immaculate before it got driven into.
04 Titanium 182
77,000 miles
belts have a year left
brand new rear cup dampers (less than 1k miles)
newish front cup dampers (less than 9k miles)

I knew something wasn't right, they were offering to sort everything out without really asking any questions or anything. That's where I told them to stop and that I didn't want to enter into anything with them. I don't agree with this like for like hire car stuff, I might get a nice car for a...
Yea, damaged on the car in front.
I definitely wasn't stopped too close too the car in front, the force of her hitting me pushed me (and the car in front as well) forward a fair bit. I can't see how I'm liable for it in any way at all. Anyone with any experience of this type of situation care...
So, on Saturday someone drove into the back of me while I was stopped behind a car that was waiting to turn right. Both ends of my car are damaged, and because the boot floor's now a bit bent I reckon it'll be a write off.
I've no doubt that the girl who drove into the back of me will...
Boot floor's bent, rear bumper's knackered, exhaust's bent, hatch is dented... and I got pushed into the car infront so my bonnet's trashed, my front bumper has a chunk out of it and one of the xenons is cracked. It doesn't look too bad from a distance but I'm pretty confident it's a write off.
Exactly.. I may have been a bit rude to the girl who hit me initially but I apologised for getting angry. She seemed in shock, felt kinda sorry for her tbh. Dunno how it must feel to be responsible for wreckng someone's pride and joy.
Are there any LYs for sale on here atm? I quite fancy an...
Yea it'd be fine as a track car.. still drives ok. In a way I'm kinda glad, belts and dephaser needed doing soon... means I can get something better in a nicer colour with fresh belts etc. If my insurance gives me an ok price for it. Might even get a ph1
Car's a write off... boot floor is bent. Pretty annoying since I've just spent the last couple of months getting it to where I wanted. Just got it back 2 days ago from having the last few niggles sorted. Ffs.
I've got a Scorpion (SRN019, not the RS192) and it's not particularly loud imo. Obviously it's a bit noisier than the standard exhaust but it's pretty easy to live with.
Yea, when everything around me disappeared I got a bit worried. Last time I drove in rain like that I ended up aquaplaning into the next lane... not fun.
Yea, I'm looking forward to seeing that. Your car sounded awesome despite being unable to give it some welly, really wish I had a Yozza. I had to buy my exhaust under emergency circumstances so didn't have the option of waiting till one came up for sale :(
What about matte black? I plastidipped my wheels recently because I'm too cheap for a proper refurb and, despite having some concerns beforehand, I think it looks really good. Previously I would have said that a dark anthracite would be best.
I guess my car's not as bad as I think, the exhaust's the only thing that actually NEEDS sorting. I just need to accept that it'll never be perfect and then I'll be happy.
Glad people like it, if anyone wants it on a t-shirt PM me and I'll sort you out with a version that's suitable for printing. Feel free to use it for whatever you want, but don't go making money from it :P
Probably gonna try and do the V6 next, then a 197 or 200.
Made this a couple of months ago when I was learning to use Illustrator, reckon it makes quite a nice wallpaper. I thought I'd share it with some people who might appreciate it. :D
I'd definitely recommend Brentacre, gave me a better price than anyone else. Aviva won't even insure me... god knows why, I'm 26 with 5 years no claims.
Well good, Duxford's really close to me and I'm overdue a visit anyway. I remember going there as a kid when they just got the SR-71 in, that thing made a big impression on me.
