The thing I worry about with eBay, is buying complete pish. I brought a supposed "UV Filter" for my camera, and it was a piece of sh!t tbh..

eBay is only good for Canon iirc ;)

I do absolutely zero P/P, no idea where I'd even begin with it tbh! You get what you see with my photos lol! I'll get some up asap!

Recently went to Vegas, took the 500d with me, took plenty of shots on the strip/Grand Canyon. They all looked decent on the LCD on the camera. But when I put them on my computer, the colours seems quite wishy-washy, especially the shots at the Canyon where there is a VERY faint white edge to...

In certain modes, live view doesn't work. Such as on my 500d, you can't use live view when in "Auto" mode, but you can in M, Tv modes etc.

I'd take the Canon websites facts as truth over what some part-time scruff working at Curry's says..

I dont personally see that big an advantage of the 550 over the 500, other than full 1080p video recording, but if you want a camera for full HD video then why get an SLR over a dedicated video camera?!

500d. End of debate. Or the new 1100d or whatever it is thats replacing the 1000d?!
