Laura - Thanks for the link, that lens looks really good and at the price, can't complain! In terms of the macro ability it has, how close can I get before it won't be able to focus on the object? Is there any way of knowing that?
Evil Giraffe - Those pics are excellent, what range is your lens?
I don't really have one as I dont really have any prices to go by to be honest! Seen a zoom lens on Amazon which has good reviews for about £150.
I'm still a "beginner" as such with photography, so i'm not massively worried about having some top of the range piece of kit.
As above, I have a Canon 500d with the standard IS kit lense that comes with it.
I am looking at getting a couple of new lenses for my birthday, but am not really sure what are the best ones/what to look for.
I'm after a zoom lense, something around 300mm, and have seen a few, but not sure...
One front/side pic, one rear, one interior. Thats all you need to make it better tbh.
I can't say i'd get put off of buying it from the current advert though so its up to you!
I haven't tuned any drift cars yet, I have literally only been driving them as standard to get used to them!
To be honest, upgrading a car for racing I can do.
But when it comes to upgrading/tuning for drifting I don't really have any clue!
Your missing out! I never used to, but then when everyone just went on and on about it, i thought why not, and haven't looked back! You have to persist though, took me a good week or so to get half decent at it. I still always come last on online lobbies ;)
Try a relatively "easy" car to start...
Remember as well, different cars have different braking abilities. So 3/4 the way down in an Evo is completely different to 3/4 the way down in a tuned R8.
Common sense, but thought i'd say it anyway!
No ABS is so much better once you get used to it. If your using a control pad just DON'T slam the brake trigger fully down. Instant lock-up. I find about 3/4 of the way down is usually spot on.
Yea was thinking of just getting a few different lenses, but the reason I looked at getting her her own was that she is at Uni for half of the year in London, and she also goes away quite a fair bit with friends/family.
Decisions, decisions..
I currently own a 500D and have nothing but praise for it.
My girlfriend has taken quite a liking to the camera aswell, and has decided she too would like one.
Problem is, when we look at a lot of the cameras, the LCD screens are absolutely shocking in comparison to the 500D. She says she...
Mate you are completely inept at life if you think the stealers sell minted cars all the time! They can offer that 30 day moneyback guarantee and 12 month warranty because 90% of people that buy from them, such as yourself, are so deluded to the fact that they lie through their a$$es, you wont...
