With some luck I should have the lotus 7 ready to use for this :) jump leads at the ready mind! Lol. Also I prob won't be leading this as I will just be tootling along at the back to see how the 7 copes as it will be my 1st proper drive out. Everyone still up for this run!?

Thanks :) Personally I think building the car is half the enjoyment and experiance, also you will appreciate the car a hell of alot more too. They look very simple to work on tbf aswell! So if you could build and maintain it with a friend who knows there stuff mechanically then I can't see...

Oh hi tunst! Lol. No Its still in his name for insurance reasons but it's basically mine to use and look after as I please ;) It was my dads from new, he and his friend built it and it's been all over Europe so it's quite a speacial car for me to own Tbh. It has alot of sentimental value. :)...

# UPDATE # So today i have had the 7 up and running a few times today to get it back into the swing of life and get the battary charged back up to full life. Took it down the lane a couple times to get things back into flow ready for its upcoming MOT and to make sure all is in working order...

Why don't u just buy 2nd refurbed wheels off here? Nothing wrong going 2nd hand, will prob work out cheaper with decent tyres too! Either that or just stick with the OEM turinis and put the money towards coilovers instead. Look far better than those above. No brainer really.

Small Update. bit of sad news, Cars getting sorted for sale this next couple weeks. Service/MOT/6months tax etc etc...

I Don't think it's going to be as much of a big hit or as special as the RS2/4/6 mind. It needs wider rear arches to suit! Not a fan of it Just yet tbh.
