    Gaz.'s 1996 Mazda RX7 FD3S Efini (JDM & Rotary Content)

A DA, a DAS-6 to be precise. Then used Sonus SFX1 on a Sonus Heavy Cutting pad. Topped with Poorboy's Blackhole and Poorboy's Natty Blue Paste Wax. It'll look crap after a few days outside, they always do.

My latest shed. Sticker content. Failsport, Norfbest, Hi.

That's probably why. They don't work very well when the oil has the same consistency as piss.

Somebody must have kept up the gearbox oil services then.

If it does, I bet it doesn't work properly anymore. My viscous on the Nissan at 97k was more like an open diff.

Probably best getting somebody with a paint gauge and the expertise to look at it before even contemplating that.

Cheers guys. It's glossy, that's about it really. Unfortunately I've found paint runs, filler, sink holes, scratches etc now but oh well. LOL Rhys, no thanks dude. If I were getting a moneypit Ford, it would be a Sierra Cosworth.

I need rid of all the shite in there like the air pump/air con/battery etc. It'll get done in time.

No point shining the tyres, it's usually full of silicone and I want the Regas refurbing. I'm probably working when CSS is on, not that I'd be off anyway.

Spent 10 hours of my life machine polishing the car, topped it with a coat of Poorboys Blackhole and a coat of Poorboys Natty paste wax to give it some protection... DSC_0090 by gaz_roberts01, on Flickr DSC_0093 by gaz_roberts01, on Flickr DSC_0087 by gaz_roberts01, on Flickr It's...

Long lasting, quick & easy to apply protection

Scrap that, I can see the difference now. I've gone for some Zaino Clear Seal, sounds ideal. Thanks guys.

I'll look into those two sprays and the Z line. What's the difference?

Long lasting, quick & easy to apply protection

It turns out the RX7 is so old school it doesn't have a clear coat, but that means it needs more care really to prevent it fading in the UV. I loathe polishing & waxing, so I need some sealant that I can apply over Blackhole quickly and easily. I'd use Colli 476 but frankly I hate spending all...

Best to get one cut, I only got one with the RX but it wasn't looking too smart.

My biggest concern is the route of the fuel lines at the rear, that seems quite a low point of the car.

Make it look less of a turd. It seems OK. If I die you can say i told you so. Not as low underneath as the Nissan was (despite rubbing a lot more), although that may change with a 3" exhaust. A little, I avoid speed bumps as much as I can anyway.

Got the car back from it's short stay at SlideMotorsport. Dropped her off on a red hot Friday 2 weeks back... Don't be fooled by the appearance of their yard, the owner Matt is the first garage I've ever trusted to do any work on a car of mine, and that speaks volumes. His work is second to...

f**king lol, cheeky b*****d! Do her proud dude, sort the rust and get her looking baller. I've been seeing epic MX5 kind of fitment stuff kicking about. Once I get on the mac I'll throw you some links.

    Wheel refurb + a favour...

Yet I've had countless sets that haven't. The nuts tear into the powder anyway, so it must have been properly pissed on to allow it to come loose. That or the wheels were fitted whilst still warm.

Yeah nobody wants full ownership of the villages round there! Nicer place to be than Donny in fairness.

    Forza Horizon

I'll get the demo and see. I'll probably buy it because I get bored of being limited to the same tracks, that's why I stop playing Forza after a month or so lol.

    Forza Horizon

They just scream NFS to me. Even the handling looks as gash as on the NFS games. Braking into some huge slide, yeah cool.
