What insurance are you lot getting and who with? im struggling to get below £1.4k?? seems abit steep!
3 points are for minor offence (CD10), i also live in a safe village out in country so all should be good!? (CA6)
Thanks, Piers.
Well need to get the F1's refurbed anyway so if they still look s**t il get rid.
So know one thinks that a polished metal / brilliant silver finish would look good? So they Tie in nicely with the car (bullets, badges etc) thats what I'm thinking..
I was also thinking maby flatten the Off...
Sorry haven't replyied sooner.
Not sure why the finish has become dull, iv not done anything barr clean them.. I think it's only when the sun is on them direct they give abit of a sparke like your above pic, other than then they usually look quite dull.. But maby that's due to contrasting with...
Cheers guys :)
Brown bear - actually according to the pressure gauges it's ok.. I thought the same at 1st.
Gaz-kev - Lol ino but couldn't resist!! I agree black would look the nuts but can't help but think I want to give a proper silver a chance just to be different. And you don't want to know...
Recently got the car lowered. Still got the dull silver 16" Oz F1's. Due to be refurbed once winter has passed though, to either satin black or a nice polished bright silver, still haven't decided on that yet.
Here's a couple iPhone pics..
Cheers.

Gutted I only made it a third of the way due to the A66 being closed due to snow and would of been past 4 by the time
I de-toured to get there so just headed back home :(
(I phoned up and there was only 2/4 cars left anyway)
Gutted!
Costs will be split a little with the missus mind as she would be sharing it (hence milage) ;) anyone have any idea what the m3 serving etc costs are? Ino mpg Is similar to a ClioV6..
So u guys think owning an m3 over a brand new 200 over a few years would be more cost effective? Aslong as the...
250 would just be above budget.. But might of droped enough by start of next year mind :S good shout tho!
Thought the M3's were one of those well known bullet proof cars? I mean iv have had Clio's without warranty n all have been ok.. Touch wood! But spose it's like that with any 2hand car...
Nice input :)
Good point about the banger money being put towards the running costs but the milage etc, I think the banger in the long run would make things cheaper :S more so with a M3 or the V6, not so much With a Z4 or R32..
M3 is the best choice as it's so practicle n fits the bill...
