I rescued a windows machine last night with 7.10. Mate funned up his pc by surfing smut. Put in the Ubuntu live CD, boot into it no problems, attached my external hard disk which it found straight away, dragged all of his documents onto it. The windows partition is availble on 7.10 out...

Yeah, very good! Works much better if you get out in the sticks so there isnt any other light than the cars.
