Got it for £49 and got a new box. Signed up at a local shopping centre. IIRC reading on avforums.com Sky will be reducing Sky+ to £49 across the board. It just hasnt filtered through yet to the dealers. If you go for a £49 deal make sure you dont get a refurbed box. Apparently, thats how sky get...
I've had it for ages on my 3 phone. In software. You just log into skype like you do on the pc. I've also got msn messenger on it for texts etc.
I think these new phones just do the same as what has been around for ages on 3, but have a big skype button on them for retards to use.
If you already subscribe sky mover thing is £50 for them to come out. Funking rip off!
Have you checked the house you are buying because it may already have a dish? If it has just plug in the box and off you go (obs ring up and change your addy).
You could always cancell your subscription...
lol, dont rip him off. Get some quotes and dont just put it in the first one you come across.
Unless he drove by on purpose laughing I would have thought he would be feeling really bad.....
Anyways did he buy it for you? Pays the insurance? I only ask this because of the Recaros comment....
Dual boot into Ubuntu. Put one in Windows and the other on Ubuntu.
Get NTFS access on the ubuntu install so you can still acess all the same music as the windows partition.
Sky + is fantastic.
Just dont let the monkey they send around to install it anywhere near your central heating pipes with a drill...
It will end in tears.
I still havent got the cheque for the damage!
I havent downloaded the live CD yet.
Might do tonight. 7.04 didnt like my computer but 6.10 does. I'm getting random crashes now with 6.10 after a software patch. Totally locks up the machine. Deffo a ATI graphics problem. I think the actual laptop is on its way out and it may not be software...
pmsl! At least the man sent them out unlike a whole host of so called pikey sellers on here!
I'd just fork out the extra for a nano mate. You'll still want one even if you buy something else.
Re: Would you buy a 100,000 mile 182
Theres your problem. He did well to get to 120k in a Rover!
I would buy it but for 600 less and drive it into the ground.
Look for a Sony netMD walkman. They connect to the PC. You can get the drive to go in the pc IIRC it goes in the 5 1/4 drive bay. You can only get 140mb on each disk and you have to use data mini disks to write data to it.
Viewing card was in the post today. Fair play for them getting it to me that quick. All up and running.
Sky+ seems very good. I like the live pause thingy. Loads already in the planner to record.
Much better than buying a dooooovd recorder IMO.
Re: Sky+ Installation...f**kwits!
No he was a sub contractor. Nope he didnt check. If he contiuned throught the wall level he would have missed the pipes. He drilled at an angle.
Anyways, its all sorted out now. His company are paying the £330 plumbing costs.
I still cant use the system...
Yup. Me being special needs forgot to take pictures. So should have. I just wanted to get next door sorted out. Dont know if they ever come home for lunch etc.

Nice bloke comes out. He seems really rushed, tells me he has only just started and he needs to do 6 installs today.
I say great. Go and make him a cup of tea.
He starts drilling. Bang....
Water pissing out all over the new wooden floor.

Frostwire is the linux eq of limewire. Dont think you can put it on windows?!?
Edit: yup you can. It basically does exactly the same. Even looks the same imo.
http://www.frostwire.com/
I personally wouldnt put any P2P software other than newsgroups/torrent service on a windows PC. You'll be...
checking up on the gf?
lol, you wont get the p/word off AOL.
You could use a key logger but if she is running anything higher than windows 98 you'll have issues getting one to work full stop. Plus, you'll have to wait till someone enters the password on the PC.
If I were you just ring AOL and...
safe pmsl, windows + limewire = very unsafe!

same thing as lime wire you dont have to worry about the viruses etc
£750 per year to watch the telly. Ouch.
Thats nearly £950 of your gross salary....
I've just got sky+ for £20 per month minus the sport. Got a good deal on the box £49.
I have a LAN network HDD on my wireless network i.e. one that can connect to a LAN and USB. It plugs into my router via a spare rj45 socket. Plus, I can access it from work like a server.
Only cost about £30 from ebay plus an old HDD.
