I'm with Virgin and have had not probs (touch wood!) 8mb 17.99 and no contract. When I moved they didnt charge to move the line.
Sega Rally is one of the best games of all time imo. Shame it looks so dated now! I could only dream of graphics like that on my 486-sx2 50 at the time!!
cough, pay as you go, cough,
I hardly use my phone anymore. I'm going to get myself onto pay as you scab to loose another bill.
Not particularly broke but cant justify spending £23 a month on a contract I dont use much....
Whats wrong with the washer jets? are they blocked?
Just blast out the water, use the back jet if they are totally blocked. Put some clean hot water in the reservior and blast that through.
Keep doing it until they are clear. I wouldnt replace them if they are blocked. Right pain the arse...
Gaim is good! I used that at home. aMSN looks a tad ugly compared to the real thing. If your using a windows pc I dont know why you would use it over the M$ version.... :quiet:
could do it with a s-video out if your graphics card has one > into a s-video to scart.
So all you need if you have the s-video out on your graphics card is an s-video lead (about £10) and a s-video > scart converter (about £5).
I think we should let the Windows fanboys be. I cant see anyone agreeing on this topic. Please, just at least try another OS with an open mind once in your life.
I'll stick with my Linux install, they can stick to their crappy, resource hogging OS.
At the end of the day, everyone is a winner...
It's just becuase the tools that 'read' the Star cant afford one on finance yet....
Just wait till Yes car credit get them in! They will be the next best thing since the paxo VTS. lol.
Have you actually used a recent linux os? Yes you can use the command prompt, but most things are installed through an installer. In ubuntu they give you an installer you can install hundered bits of free software, sort of a library type thing.
Well. If you were a man with just a PC and no software AND no money, what software would you use?
A) Pirated copy of MS Windows/Office etc
B) Completely free Linux based operating system with free apps etc
? Call me mad, but this is happening everyday. True people will use pirated software...
I far from hate MS. I have used it for years. I grew up with it and have every copy of windows back to Windows 3.0 in my draw (I'm quite proud of that!!), bar Windows 2000 Server edition. I have random versions of NT ffs.
I've just become more hypercritical in my old age. Put it this way. I...
lol, I've used it for a fair few years, it's just recently I've made a full switch.
I hardly think highlighting an alternative is spouting rubbish. I think being so narrow minded people cant appreciate an alternative is rubbish.
lol! you do work for them dont you ?? :rasp:
Regards to building my own operating system I am! Customising ubuntu to my own needs (for free!!) in a way I couldnt do with Windows.
and thats why it will be successful.
I was reading an artical that made loads of sense (well to me) about MS.
It basically states a really big fact. It's in the computer industry's and MS to keep inventing software that is more processor intensive. For instance, I don't use Windows XP anymore...
google a key if you need one. make sure you have your spyware and antivirus switched on and dont download anything onto your computer to "gain access" to the key you'll always find a site which doesnt require this.
or goto www.ubuntu.com and download the latest version and bin windows!
