Ps2 connections...

Is it possible to connect a PS2 to a computer monitor?
My mate asked me and i dont think its possible as the ps2 is Composite cables/scart and the monitors are VGA etc...

Anyone got any ideas?

Not without a seperate box of wizardry, no. The XBox360 was the first console launched with VGA connectivity.

in a way yes but the dreamcast had an optional vga box so that would make it earlier but it wasnt available from launch

Dreamcast never really made it as a console though did it, it just kind of appeared and disappeared...!

It was awful! I can count the number of people I know have one on one hand... and it's a similar number to the number of people I know who DON'T have either an X-Box or Playstation of some form!

it sold 10 million it was very advanced for its time it even had internet gaming and web browsing it was powered by windows ce so it did erm crash lol

Shenmue is in my top 10 of all time. I wish they would sort the rest of the series out as I need to know what happens.

Ferrari F355 Challange was pretty much arcade perfect on the Dreamcast, and very very hard. Metropolis Street Racer was also exellent. As was Resident Evil: Codename Veronica.

Sega Rally is one of the best games of all time imo. Shame it looks so dated now! I could only dream of graphics like that on my 486-sx2 50 at the time!!
