Thanks for the tips guys - I think ill try to patch it up myself with a cocktail stick and some paint. If it looks bodged ill get the pros in :)
P.S Membership now in the post :)
Went to a restaurant to celebrate my dads birthday with the rents, after the meal came back to find 2 little scratches on the drivers door below the door handle (like a little claw mark) each one about 5mm long... Someone blatantly hit their door into mine. im absolutely gutted.. the car is only...
But I mean.. does everyones 1.2 16v sound tappety or is it just mine? I mean fair enough, if the engine is naturally tappety loud, then thats fine, im just wondering if its just mine?
Hmmm.. well my clio is definitely more tappety at idle with the clutch up than my 205 ever was.. and that had done 77k miles. Do you think its worth taking it to renault?
Oh and it definately needs slamming and a stiffer suspension setup - quite a lot of body roll!
Its clean because ive just spent 1/2 the day cleaning it, polishing and waxing with the entire meguiars product range :)
its a mk3? Riiight i didnt know that, whats the differences between the mk2 and mk3?
Its about 2 weeks old.. no mods planned yet really.. except for some nice ice and some rims... how does this effect the warranty by the way?
I know youre probably bored of people doing this, but because im new, i thought it would be rude for me not to show a pic of my pride and joy - so here you are :)

Hey dudes.. i was wondering if anyone else has this? My 1.2 16v is 700 miles old, and in neutral with the clutch up you can really hear it bad... is this normal or are they worn already? Ive not really been ragging it... only a few times!
Im not going to wait 18,000 miles to have my oil change... I used to change my 205s every 1000! Are you allowed to do this?
Also, ICE - are you allowed to fit aftermarket speakers + headunit or will it invalidate the warranty?
Well, last friday I picked up my lovely black Dynamique - Pictures to come soon. I really like it and it feels quite nippy for a 1.2, plus i love all the gadgets. I was just wondering, can someone explain to me how the renault servicing works, no one has really explained it to me. How often do I...
Finally, after waiting 8 weeks (originally told 4 weeks), I pick up my brand new dynamique! I really cant wait, but with all the complaints about problems with brand new clios, can someone give me a list of things to check for? I know people have mentioned bad sunroofs, but can anyone think of...
Thanks for the enthusiastic replies peeps - I phoned Renault today (Renault Croydon in Coulsdon (makes sense eh?)) and spoke with the very friendly Daniel whos the head salesman who sold me the car, and he said its currently in transit and i would be able to drive it away on the 13th of July...
Hey all you brand new clio owners, how long did you have to wait for your clio to arrive? Ive heard nothing from Renault (great service eh?), they said it would be about 4 weeks (its been about 5 now)
I spoke to a mate who said he had to wait almost 7 weeks for his.. is this true?
Porsche wouldnt let GT use their name so the porsche cars are under RUF (the tuning company) and are slightly different in dimensions to proper porsches to avoid copyright laws.
Just looking at the list - blimming impressive, theyve even got the Peugeot 205 T16 - CLASSIC!
lol, thanks for the replies. As clio16vpaul says, ill have warranty becos its brand new. The only reason i was asking about reliability is because everyone ive told that ive bought a clio says theyre awful for reliability.
Hey everyone, posted on her a few days ago about me buying the 1.2 16 sport on the 0% finance deal, but i was just wondering, ive never owned a renault before, what are they like for reliability, especially the mk2 1.2 16v?
Cheers !
