EE 4G coverage is terrible and outdoor-only at the moment (high end of the spectrum). Best to wait for Vodafone and O2 to get theirs as it will be lower frequencies and be able to penetrate buildings (ooer missus etc).
I just renewed my VF contract, but they've said I'll be able to...
Exactly. The original one looks 80s for some reason, even though the 172 only came out in 2001. At least the 182s were only 1-2 years old when the 197 came out. It suits the car quite well.
I saw that old one on eBay when I bought my 197 one. I think this will look much smarter though:

It's ok, but it's nowhere near as good as Co-Pilot or Tom-Tom in my opinion. You get what you pay for, I guess.
You may as well just use the Apple Maps turn-by-turn if you don't want to pay anything for it. It's been reasonably serviceable on the odd time I've tested it out.
I've had my 182 for just over a month now. I got about 29mpg for the first few weeks, but I didn't go very far (just town driving). I took it out on a long run last weekend and got exactly 35 though, which I'm pleased about. :)
I'm done with Battlefield. I loved 2 and both Bad Companies, but 3 just put me right off. The CoD-a-like pointless single player campaign, plus having to unlock everything for each vehicle/weapon made things massively unbalanced between new and experienced players.
Maybe I've just gone off...
I've used an iPad and iPhone for navigation with the standard GPS receiver - Co-Pilot Live is very good and quite a lot cheaper than the official Tom-Tom app.
However, the iPad would be too big and heavy for mounting, as msremmert has already said. The iPad Mini would be perfect, but I just use...
Neither will be backwards compatible as they'll want to sell you your old games again on XBLA and PSN.
I went Xbox, Xbox 360, but unless Microsoft pull something awesome out of the bag I'll be going with the PS4. Sony can't balls up as much as they did with the PS3, right?
